Using information from POS and counterparts in all other transactions, we break down consumer spending using a harmonised expenditure category according to the Classification of Individual Consumption by Purpose (COICOP) system into 12 groups. Total consumption indicator does not coincide with the sum of COICOPs categories given there are non-categorized transactions.
